Have you ever wondered what its like to be recognized for your hard work? Do you wonder how your skills stack up to others? Have you watched a video and said "mine look better Than That"? Well The fly fishers International, Fly Tying Group's Skill awards might be the answer.

Like all good challenges, it is a journey not a race. The Goal? to make better fly tiers. The skills awards are a series of challenges that start at the bronze level. They progress through silver and gold. Lets put this into perspective. Of all the members of the Fly Tying group world wide, there are approximately 225 Bronze award recipients, 75 silver, and about 25 Gold skills recipients.

Yes, I have achieved my bronze and am working on my silver flies. More Importantly I have met some great people who have helped mentor me and encourage me. IF you want a journey Think about joining the Group and Going for the gold.
