October found me streamside at Cedar Creek in Star Tannery, VA. I was able to hook into a couple of Bruisers. The section I generally fish is well stocked with Rainbow and Browns with a few wild Brookies making Their way down from the mountain. I hooked up first on a Grey Moose dry with a Spicey Olive Dropper. This gal was about an 18 in rainbow. I however flopped when netting. The next one was on a Royal Wolfe with a Rock caddis Dropper. What happened to October? I got back from the FFI gathering in Grand Rapids and jumped right into planning the Rapidan chapter of TU October meeting.
